Year 2010

During the month of April Fr. Peter McGinley and Fr. John Fraser celebrate their Golden Jubilee of Priesthood: Fr. Peter in his home Parish in Shettleston and Fr. John in our Parish of Carmyle. Many friends and family member joined in the celebrations enlivened by an Ugandan choir.

Year 2009

Fr. Pier Paolo Monella leaves Carmyle and after his fruitful studies at Strathclyde University, he is now in Lusaka Zambia as novice master. Fr. John Fraser joined our community after returning from Northern Uganda.

Year 2008

We held our Open Day in June once again in the Parish of Carmyle. The highlight of the day was the dancing of the members of the Ugandan community rejoicing for the Golden Jubilee of the Comboni Sister Santina Pellizzaro.

Year 2007

Fr. Sean leaves Carmyle and after his fruitful holidays in Italy for Christmas 2007, he is now back to Uganda continuing his missionary work. Fr. Mario arrives from Leeds to join our community and replace the father in the mission office. Fr. Anthony celebrates his Golden Jubilee of Priesthood.

Year 2006

Fr. Francis leaves Carmyle and after his fruitful holidays in Italy for Easter 2006, he is now back to South Sudan continuing his missionary work. Fr. McGinley arrives from the USA to join our community. Fr. Donato is appointed new superior.
